Geez, this image strikes a cord with me... since the car is usually where I finally break down. Won't ever let myself cry in front of other people, but once I'm at the wheel... This is really nice. The coloring really adds to the feeling of the image - that moment where all is lost and dark; not black, just gray and hopeless. Love it. Seriously.
This piece has always gotten to, since I can relate to it really well. You really captured the moment, and the expression is spot on. Beautiful work :)
Sorry if it seems like I’m coming from the twilight zone here, but when I look at it without the description or tags, it looks as if she’s waiting at a light, sees something very funny, and is soon to burst out laughing. I am NOT making fun, this is really what comes to mind. Art can mean different things to different people, intended or unintended, just as my photo teacher explained.
God, I've been there....the only times I've ever been able to cry were to the sound of the stereo competing with the sound of the highway passing around me for the attention of my ears. I wish I could still afford to take those drives I used to take, just to unwind, let things go...

I always go to my car to cry and go for a drive. Probably not the safest thing. Very emotional pic =)

Even in the thumbnail, this expression read spot-on clearly.

This is a really nice picture. The expression and pose are well done, although I kinda agree with ALH, at first I thought she was laughing
